Small Sycamore Vase with Feather Engraving

I love turning sycamore and I love it even more when you can capture that spectacular snakeskin grain pattern on the sides. This little vase does just that, and I’ve engraved a really cool feather on the front with my laser engraver. Perfect to hold dry flowers or pencils or paintbrushes or even feathers (though do be aware of the legality of collecting feathers – you may not possess any feathers from migratory birds, so stick to game birds and waterfowl)
