This lil dude is turned from a piece of flame Boxelder and I turned the nose from maple. He features a gorgeous beard felted from real wool curls dyed in warm autumn colors. The beard compliments the characteristic red streaks of the flame boxelder and I think he’s just amazing!
The body and nose are sanded super smooth and then I apply a durable wax finish.
The nose has a long stem that is pushed through the beard and into a hole drilled into the body and then glued in place.
These guys are sold individually but I have included a photo of several of them together to show how cute they are in groups. The photos are taken sitting on a black acrylic product stand which is not included but gives a better view of the beard and how these look on shelves etc.
