The Viking – this lil dude hasn’t earned his horns yet, but what he lacks in headgear he more than makes up for in the facial hair department. His body and helmet are turned from black walnut, his nose maple. His very important and very long beard is made from soft acrylic yarn with some black and brown streaks and really compliments the grain of the black walnut.
All his parts are sanded super smooth and then I apply a durable wax finish.
The nose has a long stem that is pushed through the beard and into a hole drilled into the body and then glued in place.
These guys are sold individually but I have included a photo of several of them together to show how cute they are in groups. The photos are taken sitting on a black acrylic product stand which is not included but gives a better view of the beard and how these look on shelves etc.
