The Red Wizard is turned from a piece of flame Boxelder and I turned the nose from cherry. He features a gorgeous beard felted from real wool curls dyed in warm shades or red. The beard compliments the characteristic red streaks of the flame boxelder, which also has some really nice curly figure going on!
The body and nose are sanded super smooth and then I apply a durable wax finish.
The nose has a long stem that is pushed through the beard and into a hole drilled into the body and then glued in place.
These guys are sold individually but I have included a photo of several of them together to show how cute they are in groups. The photos are taken sitting on a black acrylic product stand which is not included but gives a better view of the beard and how these look on shelves etc.
