This fella’s body and hat are turned from butternut, also sometimes known as white walnut because they are in the same family, and his nose is turned from black walnut. His long beard is made from soft acrylic yarn that looks like an autumn rainbow.
All his parts are sanded super smooth and then I apply a durable wax finish.
The nose has a long stem that is pushed through the beard and into a hole drilled into the body and then glued in place.
These guys are sold individually but I have included a photo of several of them together to show how cute they are in groups. The photos are taken sitting on a black acrylic product stand which is not included but gives a better view of the beard and how these look on shelves etc.
