Bluebeard’s body and top hat are turned from a single piece of white oak and his gorgeous beard is felted from real wool curls dyed in shades of blue. His nose is also turned from white oak. The beard compliments the rich warmth of the white oak, which features amazing quartersawn grain.
The body and nose are sanded super smooth and then I apply a durable wax finish.
The nose has a long stem that is pushed through the beard and into a hole drilled into the body and then glued in place.
These guys are sold individually but I have included a photo of several of them together to show how cute they are in groups. The photos are taken sitting on a black acrylic product stand which is not included but gives a better view of the beard and how these look on shelves etc.
