This penguin is turned on a lathe from a blank of black walnut and one of only two I didn’t use maple for the belly. This piece of walnut had a little bit of sapwood and spalting and figure so I decided it was too pretty to change. The beak is also turned from black walnut. I sand it all super smooth and then apply a durable wax finish.
I made these in all shapes and sizes, so get a few and create your own waddle of penguins!(Penguins are sold separately, group photo is an example of how damn cute they are together)
